Trust, in writing

Privacy, without the fog.

Vora works if you reject optional cookies. Analytics and Marketing stay off until you choose them, and you can change your choice at any time.

Effective July 15, 2026

Optional means optional

Rejecting does not limit the site, blog, or waitlist.

Separate choices

Analytics and Marketing are distinct and start off.

A real opt-out

Global Privacy Control keeps Marketing denied.

What we collect

If you join the waitlist, Vora collects the name and email address you submit so we can manage your place and send the updates you requested. You can unsubscribe from those messages at any time.

Like most websites, our hosting and security services receive ordinary request information such as IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps, and diagnostic data. We use it to deliver, secure, debug, and rate-limit the site.

We also receive information you choose to send when you contact us directly.

Cookies and measurement

Necessary storage remembers your privacy choice and supports security. It cannot be switched off through the banner because the consent system itself needs it to work.

With Analytics permission, Vora may load Umami to understand page use and successful waitlist actions. With both Analytics and Marketing permission, Vora may also load the existing Google Tag Manager container, which routes Google, Meta, and Stape campaign measurement. Because that shared container includes both analytics and advertising tags, Vora currently requires both choices before loading it. This keeps a partial choice from activating the other purpose while Vora audits each internal trigger.

Consented campaign tools may receive page and conversion events, campaign or referrer values, browser and advertising identifiers, and network/device information. The current configuration can also use hashed matching data. Hashing does not make personal data anonymous; Vora is reviewing and minimizing that configuration.

Your privacy choices

Optional categories are off by default. Choosing Reject all is a complete and supported choice. Use the control below whenever you want to review or withdraw permission.

If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, Vora forces Marketing off even if an older saved choice said otherwise.

Who helps us operate the site

CookieYes

Shows the consent controls, remembers your choice, and publishes the reviewed cookie declaration.

Vercel and Upstash

Host and protect the site, process ordinary request data, and rate-limit waitlist submissions.

Klaviyo

Stores the name and email you submit and sends the Vora updates you requested.

Umami

Provides consented site and conversion analytics without receiving the waitlist name or email from Vora's application event.

Google, Meta, and Stape

Provide consented campaign measurement through the existing Google Tag Manager and server-side tagging configuration.

Sanity and YouTube

Provide blog content and the privacy-enhanced video embedded on the blog page.

Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising

Vora does not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws may treat advertising measurement as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising even when no money changes hands. Rejecting Marketing or sending Global Privacy Control opts this browser out of that activity on this site.

Retention, transfers, and your rights

We keep waitlist information until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete it, or it is no longer needed for the waitlist. Consent choices and provider records follow their configured compliance, campaign, security, and diagnostic periods. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed.

Vora and its providers may process website information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information; withdraw consent; object to or restrict processing; and opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising.

Security and children

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards and try to keep collection small. No online system can guarantee perfect security.

This website is not directed to children under 13, and Vora does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through it.

Cookie and tracker declaration

CookieYes generates the declaration below from its latest site scan. Automated classifications are reviewed when measurement configuration changes.
